Custom MetalworkAll metal work will be properly assembled, functional, and proportioned. Actions will be properly trued to the axis of the bore, ground, and hand-polished to remove machine marks.
A new premium grade barrel will be properly contoured, polished, fitted, and test fired. The original trigger will be reworked or a new adjustable trigger fitted.
Many accessories may be substituted. Substitutions may be at extra cost.
Most conversion work is available; ie. centerfire to rimfire, Springfield 22 Hornet, etc.
Bolt Actions (centerfire or rimfire)
- New bolt handle welded on with two panel checkering
- Custom safety (3 position Model 98s)
- New bottom metal
- Custom boltstop/ejector housing
- Custom scope bases and rings
Express Bolt Actions
- All refinements of the above Bolt Actions with the following additions:
- Square bridge styled scope bases with detachable rings
- Quarter rib or island rear sight base with express sight(s)
- Matching front sight with detachable sight hood
- Sling swivel fitted to barrel with matching rear swivel
- Extra depth magazine
- Extra barrel mounted recoil lug
Single Shot Actions
- Tangs and recoil surfaces properly drafted, tapered, and remachined if necessary
- Custom safety where desirable
- New screws/pins fitted if necessary
- Sling swivels fitted to barrel (optional) with matching rear swivel
- Quarter rib or Island scope bases and rings
Express Single Shot Actions
- Includes all refinements of the above Single Shot Actions with the following additions:
- Express sight(s) fitted to quarter rib
- Detachable scope rings
- Matching front sight with detachable sight hood
